STORY: 

A person named Chandrashekhar (ChandraMohan) who is an M.R.O in Vijayawada has a younger brother named Krishna (Ravi Teja). Introduction of the hero is superb.

Krisha is a PG degree Holder in MSC Computers. But due to some unusual incidents he gives away his job to a poor job applicant and instead lives idle without a job. One day he finds a beautiful girl in a Kanaka Durga Temple named Sandhya (Trisha).Krishna falls in love on the first sight with Sandhya.

Knowing that Sandhya has come to Babi‘s(brahmanandham) house as a relative for holidays ,tries a way to increase his love bond with the beautiful girl by trying to become close to her by conversation.. Krishna then plans his won family as tenants in the house of Babi. But unfortunately, after her holidays Sandhya returns to Hyderabad. Krishna becomes upset and tries to blackmail Babi ,for Sandhya’s address. He and babi start for Hyderabad to meet Sandhya.

Sandhya has elder brother named Shinde (Shayaji shinde) who is a big goon in Hyderabad. Krishna comes to know about Sandhya’s background.

Meanwhile Shinde has a rival called Jakka (Mukul Dev) who due to some misunderstanding fights with shinde. Shinde plays a witty game and sends Jakka to a six year term jail imprisonment. Jakka Decides to marry Sandhya.

Parallel to this, ignorant about the latest progress, Krishna goes to Shinde’s house and keeps a proposal to marry Sandhya.

Then how Shinde reacts to the proposal and how he devises a plan to eliminate Jakka and also Krishna in case and what is the end? Is the suspense which ahs to be seen on the big screen?
Performances

Ravi Teja lives to the character’s expectations and rocks the silver screen with his applaudable performances. He is awesome in dancing and acting skills and maintains his previous image gathered from Venky, Vikramarkudu and Idiot.

Brahmanandam is a hilarious comic character name d Babi in this film. Seeing his face makes the entire theater laughing.

Trisha on the other hand has not much to act, but does whatever is offered to her with prompt perfection and her glam look in the film and costumes is awesome and sexy . She looks gorgeous in each and every frame.

As the villains Shayaji shinde, Mukul dev, jayaprakash reddy are apt to their given characters. They live the characters and make the audience feel of as real life villains.

AVS and Sunil have done their characters with ease and perfection.

Ms Narayana and Venu madhav have a good hilarious start, but as the film goes on their characters fade out.
Technically

Music is the main highlight of this film. Chakri, who is the well known music director in Tollywood, did not live up to the expectations. All the tunes in this film are borrowed from Tamil and Hindi

Chota K Naidu has come up with excellent photography and lived up t his caliber.

On the whole the total picture is carved in a new way. Though the story is faded and looks old ,it has been added with latest colors which makes it look in a new and fresh way .the credit goes to Vv. Vinayak

The whole story in this film depicts the life of Goons in Vijayawada and Hyderabad.

Though it has a serious subject, it is weaved in a comic manner till the end.

On the whole if at all audience go for entertainment, this film will surely not disappoint them as it has all the ingredients of a hit entertainer.

And coming to the last, but not the least part. This film is sure to reach 50 days especially for the song Adrakottu kottu kottu, but not more than that.

But if at all the Fan association of Ravi Teja indulges in some kind of manipulated, political game then it can surely reach for 100 days mark. As this is the latest fashion in the film industry to manipulate the box office records.

Okkamagadu is an apt movie with a powerful story line is, by and of Balakrishna. Director YVS Chowdary has put in all his efforts to make this film in most macho way possible .his script and screenplay are perfect according to the NBR fans. In some Stage the film reminds one of Bharateeyudu to a large extent and also Aparichithudu to some extent.
Story

Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy (Balakrishna) is a young man who lives with his aged Grandfather he is good natured and comes to the aid of the people who are in need. He takes on a powerful minister when he gives a shelter to a runaway culprit son of the minister who wants to marry a girl from a modest background.

As the young Blooded Satyanarayana Swamy is fighting with the minister at one level, another person named as Okkamagadu takes on the corruption in the society and also punishes the wrong person who indulges in evil deeds. The CBI is after this Okkamagadu as they want him at any cost, as the ministerial level pressure increases on them to capture the person who is also labeled as innocent killer in their view. Finally they trace him in Venkatapuram.

The whole story is captured in a flash back. Rajaram is a doctor in a small village. His younger brother and sisters are brutally killed by the British Army soldiers, during the regime of the British before Indian Independence. This forces him to take up the law in his hands and to punish and end their atrocities. Simran(Looking Hot ) raises

Her voices against the British and is disrobed in the public by the British officer. Rajaram saves her and later falls in love with her and marries her.

Later on he is titled as Okkamagadu for his valor and fearlessness crusade against the British.

The rest of the story is how the Okkamagadu takes on the corrupt officials and inefficient people and puts an end to it in the society. He sieves the wrong doers in the society which is well portrayed on the screen and is sure to watch on the big screen
Performances

Balakrishna plays the dual role of Swami and Rajaram who happen to be a Grandfather and Grandson. The grandson has nothing much to do except dancing in love songs along with sexy beauties Anuska and Nisha. He also gets some powerful dialogues and show his trademark mannerism which he does perfectly. The senior Balakrishna fights of Martial arts in the climax are mind blowing and have been executed well. Anushka sizzles in a brief glam doll role. Her role is limited to dream about young Balakrishna and to feature in three dance songs.

Simran on the other hand played a good role and justified her character of a devoted and obedient wife to a freedom fighter. She looked hot in some scenes.

Nisha kothari who is a product of Ram Gopal Varma gave a stiff competition to Anushka and completely overshadowed Sex beauty Anushka with some revealing outfits and skin show.

Raghu babu played the sidekick of the villain and added some comedy to the action movie.

Songs like Okamagadu and Pattucheera with Anushka and Nisha  Kothari depicted balaya Babu like a Manmadha dancing in the Indralokam.

Dialogues like Iragadheesta, Okasari Modalepedthe inka aaapanu , Naku modalupettadam gaine appadam theliyadu are packed with punch of Balakrisha mass dialect and is very much applaud able.

Balaya’s get up as Okkamagadu depicts him as previous Bharateeyudu .

The film runs very slowly in the first half. The major part of the film is the second half and is portrayed like a period film about freedom struggle.

Totally this film is a must see picture as it is again in the lines of Bharateeyudu, Tagore, Aparichithudu and latest Sivaji –The boss. It is sure that this film is going to run for 50 days ,but more than it and up to 100 days is ?

The story opens with the scenes, which reveal the amount of debts Mantra [charmi] has made and even lets us know how she is forced into these debts. She is left with no means to repay and so with no hope of repaying her debts decides to sell her Farmhouse called mantra Nilayam. However, given the mysterious deaths that take place there and its spooky locales there are no buyers for the farmhouse, barring a professor who puts a condition that mantra [charmi] should give the farmhouse for a lease and must at least make the tenants stay for 3 months. Then he is willing to purchase the farmhouse.

Then the hero Sivaji’s entry takes place. His original name is maintained the same for the character. he is a sidekick of an extortionist . Finding a lucrative deal in the farmhouse he decides to stay in the farmhouse with his friends.
But unfortunately Muniswamy [chitram srinu] dies mysteriously . Then the chase of the hero to find the killer starts. Mantra joins him to find out the cause of the mysterious deaths, which are taking place in her house, and shivaji looks out for the killer of his friend.

What happens the next is a suspense, which must be surely watched on the big screen

Rajat Kapoor had warned that people should not expect a Bheja Fry out of Mithya. And it’s surely not a Bheja Fry. In fact, we would rate it as a far superior work of fiction, which creates such a web as the story unfolds that you would have a hard time believing it was not something that you had expected from the promos. It’s a thriller, with lots of comic elements, but it’s certainly not a comedy. That’s where Mithya succeeds – in creating that illusion.

The story is about a struggling actor VK (Ranvir Shorey), who goes through the regular struggle of invisible roles to cutting on his expenses. While he continues with his search for success, his destiny changes when he witnesses a shootout between two gangs. Incidentally, the leader of one of the gangs, Rajabhai, is a look alike of VK. And the opposite gang discovers this when VK goes to the police to identify the culprits of the night’s shootout. Here begins a game of removing Rajabhai and replacing him with VK – who is kidnapped by the opposite gang, headed by Gavde (Naseeruddin Shah) and Shetty (Saurabh Shukla). However, the story which might seem something similar to Amitabh Bachchan’s Don takes a sharp turn with things getting out of hand due to inevitable reasons.The story of Mithya is one of the finest in recent times. And the reality touch that the characters are given is a highlight. VK is a struggling actor with fifteen years of stage experience and yet when it comes to a whiskey, he prefers the one which comes with a free glass. There is no unwanted dosage of emotions and love certainly is not as loud as other movies. Here it takes a back seat as the hero travels towards his destiny. While the first half is done really well, the second half might seem to drag a bit – a bit. That would have been done away with by cutting down on some scenes. Also, the romantic angle between VK and Sonam (Neha Dhupia) is so underplayed that you almost wish it would be given a wee bit more importance.All said, the movie which is just over one hour forty minutes is scripted well enough to keep you hooked to it every moment – the thrill quotient is so well that by the time you reach the end, you know you had indeed got the ending wrong – unlike regular Hindi fare. The dialogues and screenplay puts in a sober dose of humour, which does not roll you off laughing but makes you smile as you relate to it – lifelike.Technically, the movie is an outright winner with its cinematography. The background score is really good and builds up on the moods. Editing might have been better.Performance wise, Ranvir Shorey is superb. The actor goes on to show why he is so well respected when it comes to acting expertise. The entire film is based on him and he gets maximum screen time. And he does not let you down even for a moment. A remarkable improvement has been seen in Neha Dhupia’s performance over the time and she does well in this one too. Naseeruddin Shah and Saurabh Shukla are a merry to watch and Vinay Pathak glows in his minute role. Harsh Chhaya and Brijendra Kala chip in with a commendable job. The movie, which is ideally a director’s film, sees some top notch pieces of acting.Overall, Rajat Kapoor’s Mithya is easily the year’s best film yet and it takes the new age cinema to another height. You might consider it abstract, but Mithya is nothing but one good tragedy. That’s the only thing that might disappoint the audience, who might go in to watch a comedy as shown in the promos.
